Amazing sugar-free caramel popcorn
Recipe by1-2 gallons prepared plain popcorn
1c brown sugar splenda (2c regular brown sugar)
1c smart balance butter
1/2c sugar free maple syrup
1/2tsp baking soda
1/2tsp salt
2tsp vanilla extract
Prep. Time → 10 min
Cook Time → 60 min
1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F
2. In a medium sized pot melt together the brown sugar, butter, and maple syrup and bring to a slow boil
3. Let boil, untouched, for 5 minutes
4. Remove from heat and add baking soda, salt, and vanilla and stir until smooth
5. Toss with popcorn so caramel is evenly distributed
6. Pour into a greased 9x13 baking dish
7. Bake in oven for 60 minutes, mixing every 20 minutes
8. Refrigerate any leftovers
