American blueberry pancakes
Recipe by200g self-raising flour
1tsp Baking Powder
Pinch of salt
1 egg
300ml milk
Large knob butter
150g Blueberry
Maple or golden syrup
Prep. Time → 5 min
Cook Time → 5 min
1. Mix flour, baking powder and salt
2. Beat the egg into the milk
3. Add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients and whisk thoroughly
4. Once no more lumps turn in the blueberries leaving a few to decorate after
5. Once mixed through heat up a crepe pan (we use a 12 inch crepe pan)
6. I use a ladle to drop on three 4" cakes
7. Once you see bubbles appearing on the to flip them over it won't take long on this side to cook
8. Stack on a plate and drizzle with any topping you fancy.
We use golden syrup as maple is so incredibly expensive over here.
9. Sprinkle with the left over blueberries and Voila
10. Grab a fork and tuck in
