Apple crisp
Recipe by6 medium sized apples
¾ cup packed brown sugar
¾ cup all purpose flour
½ cup quick oats
½ cup + 1 TB butter, softened
1 tsp cinnamon
Prep. Time → 30 min
Cook Time → 35 min
1. Peel, core, and slice apples. Lay out the apples in a large casserole dish.
2. Preheat oven to 375.
3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, oats, butter, and cinnamon.
4. Mix with your hands.
5. Sprinkle mixture evenly over the apples.
6. Bake for 30-45 minutes uncovered, or until apples are soft.
Remove from oven and let stand for 10-15 minutes before serving.
7. Alternatively, place crisp in the fridge to serve later in the day.
8. Serve cold, or reheat in the oven at 375 F, covered, for 20 minutes.
