Apple crisp
Recipe by1 Cup Coconut Sugar or Brown Sugar
1 Cup Quick (1 minute) Rolled Oats
1 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup Butter, melted
3 Large Apples, peeled, cored and chopped
1/4 Cup Stevia in the Raw or Regular Sugar
2 tsp Cinnamon
Vanilla
Melted Butter for Topping
Prep. Time → 20 min
Cook Time → 40 min
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Lightly grease an 8" square pan.
2. Peel & slice the apples and put them in a bowl. Sprinkle the Stevia and cinnamon on the apples and stir to coat them, set aside.
3. In a large bowl, combine coconut sugar, oats, flour and butter. Mix until crumbly. Add vanilla so it's not too dry.
4. Place half of the crumb mixture into the greased pan.
Spread the apples evenly over the crumb mixture.
Top with the remaining crumb mixture.
Using melted butter, make a "T" on top of the crisp.
5. Bake in the oven for 40 - 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
6. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
