Apple crumble
Recipe by150g plain flour,
75g butter or block margarine,
75g caster sugar,
2 cooking apples,
50g caster sugar (to add to the apples).
Prep. Time → 20-25 min
Cook Time → 20 min
1. Preheat oven to number 6 / 200 degrees Centigrade.
2. Sieve flour into mixing bowl.
3. Cut butter/margarine into small cubes and rub in with fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
4. Add the sugar (75g) and mix well.
5. Peel and chop the apples, and place evenly in a dish.
6. Pour sugar over the apples.
7. Place crumble mix on top and smooth the top. Wipe edges of dish.
8. Bake for 20 mins until golden.
9. Serve with Ice-cream or custard....enjoy!
