Bacon and mushroom parcels

8 sheets phyllo pastry
125ml butter, melted
15ml butter
30ml flour
125ml evaporated milk
30ml white wine
4 rashers bacon, chopped
30ml chopped chives
250g mushrooms, sliced
season to taste

Prep. Time → 15-20 min

Cook Time → 30-45 min

1. Heat 15ml butter. Add bacon and mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms are tender. Add flour

2. Gradually add the evaporated milk and then the wine.

3. When thickened, add chives and seasoning to taste. Brush each phyllo sheet with butter.

4. Top with another sheet and cut in half lengthwise.

5. Place about 50ml of filling on the end of each strip.

6. Turn long sides over filling, then roll up from short side.

7. Then repeat with remaining ingredients.

8. Place parcels on baking sheet and brush with butter.

9. Bake at 190C for about 20min.
