Bao buns of Jack Bishop - Recipefy

1+1/3 cups plain flour
1 pack dried active yeast
3 level teaspoons sugar
3/4 cups self raising flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seed oil
about 1 cup lukewarm water (probably slightly more)

Prep. Time → 120 min

Cook Time → 10 min

1. Mix all dry ingredients together

2. Add the oil

3. Add water until it forms a slightly sticky dough(not too sticky that it is hard to work with though).

4. Kneed and leave to rise until roughly doubled in size.

5. kneed again and form into buns(adding any filling if you want) place on squares of grease proof paper and leave to rise.

6. Once they have doubled in size steam (you can use a bamboo steamer or just a vegetable steamer) for 10 min (they may well continue to rise so don't pack them too tightly.

7. Enjoy
