Beef and vegetable stew

1 large jar of bolognese sauce
Water
8-10 potatoes
1-2 tubs of casserole beef (much cheaper frozen)
1 cup of flour
steak seasoning and/or herbs
1 cup of sugar
1 bag of frozen mixed vegetables
1 bay leaf
2 leeks or 2 onions
sunflower or vegetable oil
Frying pan
Slow Cooker

Prep. Time → 20 min

Cook Time → 4-6 hours min

1. In a bowl, add flour and herbs/seasonings and mix well.

2. Add casserole beef to the flour mixture, coating the beef well.

3. Place beef in a frying pan and oil to cook long enough for the coating to stick.

4. Put beef into the slow cooker

5. Dice potatoes and add to the slow cooker

6. Slice leeks/onions and add

7. Add frozen mixed vegetables

8. Add jar of bogonese sauce

9. Add 2-3 jars of water

10. Add the bay leaf

11. Add 1 cup of sugar

12. Stir well

13. Cook on medium to high heat for 4-6 hours

14. *Note: this can be done in a pot on the stove, however, will take time to mix it so it doesn't stick to the pot and will need to half the cooking time.
