Ingredients
- 454gm (1lb) extra lean minced beef
- 1 small onion, peeled and finely grated
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
- 1 small red pepper, deseeded and finely diced
- ½tsp dried mixed herbs
- 2tbsp sweet chilli sauce (3 Syns)
- salt and freshly milled black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- Fry Light
- Salad leaves, to garnish

1. Method
1. Place the minced beef in a large bowl and add the onion, garlic, red pepper, herbs and sweet chilli sauce.

2. Add the seasoning and egg. Mix together thoroughly, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

3. Using damp hands, shape the mixture into 4 evenly sized burgers.

4. Spray the burgers with Fry Light and cook on a prepared barbeque or preheated moderate grill for 4-6 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

5. Serve the burgers with a salad garnish.
