Braised Cabbage of Karyn Johnson - Recipefy

2 Tbsp Olive oil
6 slices bacon
1 small onion, sliced
2 bay leaves
Salt and freshly ground pepper
1 head of cabbage, cored and thinly sliced
1 can beef broth

1. In a large pot, add oil and cook the bacon until browned and crispy.

2. Add the onion, bay leaves and salt and pepper. Stir for a few minutes.

3. Add the cabbage, stir to combine.

4. Add the broth, season and cover. Braise until the cabbage has wilted, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes.

5. Remove the bay leaves and serve immediately.
