Buttermilk Biscuits of Laura McCracken - Recipefy

2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 Tbsp sugar
1/2 cup butter - softened
2 Tbsp buttermilk powder
2/3 cup milk

Prep. Time → 20 min

1. Preheat oven to 425°

2. Combine all dry ingredients. Cut butter in until size of small pea. Add enough milk to make dough pull away from the bowl in a ball.

3. Turn onto floured surface. Work only slightly to form circle and cut into 3" rounds. Rework and cut until dough is used. Place on baking sheet.

4. SPEED METHOD: Work dough into rectangle and cut into squares.
DROP BISCUITS: Drop dough by spoonfuls onto baking sheet.

5. Bake 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
