Chicken Stroganoff of Emma Cryer - Recipefy

1 small onion, 4 chicken breasts, 225g mushrooms sliced, 100ml chicken stock, two tablespoons of brandy, 100g of creme fraiche, 2 teaspoons of paprika, salt and pepper to season, 1 teaspoon of lazy garlic, 1 teaspoon of lazy ginger, long grain white rice, cornflour and a bunch of fresh chives chopped.

Prep. Time → 20 min

1. Fry the onion in a large frying pan for 2-3 minutes then add the chicken pieces.

2. Transfer the chicken and onion to a slow cooker and add mushrooms, chicken stock and brandy.

3. Then stir in the creme fraiche, paprika salt pepper and chives.

4. Then add 1 teaspoon of ginger and 1 teaspoon of garlic.

5. Cook in the slow cooker on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

6. 30 minutes before it is due to finish add a bit of cornflour to thicken the sauce.

7. Serve with long grain white rice.
