Chili-Rubbed Pork of Niklaus Gerber - Recipefy

3 tablespoons olive oil, plus some more for the grill pan
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 pork tenderloin (about 500 grams)
1 1/2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Coarse grained salt and pepper

Prep. Time → 5 min

Cook Time → 30 min

1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Olive oil, garlic and chili mix in a large shallow dish.

2. Marinate pork evenly on all sides. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and rub into the fillets.

3. Season with salt and pepper evenly.

4. Heat up the grill pan and add the oil.

5. Sear pork on both sides until there is nice brown crust, 2 to 3 minutes per side.

6. Now transfer the fillets from the grill pan in the oven. It takes about 18 minutes until the meat crispy outside and tender on the inside.

7. Then remove the meat from the oven and let it rest covered for 5 minutes.

8. Cut into about 1.5 cm thick slices and serve with juices from the pan.
