Chilli Noodles of John Rogers - Recipefy

100g packet of Batchelors Super Noodles
6 spring onions roughly chopped
1 garlic clove finely chopped
1 chilli pepper chopped (add more or less to taste), use seeds for a hotter dish
1/2tsp curry powder
2 rashers lean bacon cut into small bite size pieces with fat trimmed off
1/2tsp oil (olive or vegetable)
300ml boiling water (add one stock cube if stronger flavour is required)

Prep. Time → 10 min

Cook Time → 6 min

1. Using a 6" saucepan heat the oil fairly hot and add the bacon and chilli, stirring with a fork.

2. After 1 minute stir in the garlic and spring onion, keep stirring for a further minute then add noodles with the sachet of flavouring plus curry powder.

3. Add boiling water from a kettle until the contents are just covered, about 300ml is normal.

4. Bring to the boil and simmer for 4 minutes stirring frequently.

5. If the noodles thicken then add a little more water. Too much water and it makes a nice soup.

6. Serve and enjoy
