Chocolate Brownies  of Jay Brady - Recipefy

250g (9oz) butter.
275g (10oz) coca dark chocolate (Broken into pieces)
275g (10oz) caster sugar.
3 Large eggs.
1tsp Vanilla extract.
225g (10oz) plain flour.
1/2 tsp salt.

Prep. Time → 15-20 min

Cook Time → 20-25 min

1. Preheat oven to 180 gas mark 4, grease and line a tin with baking paper.

2. Melt the butter and choc in a saucepan over a low heat. stirring with a wooden spoon, remove the saucepan from the heat and allow to cool slightly.

3. In a large mixing bowl beat together the sugar, eggs and vanilla extract using a whisk. Keep mixing until pale and fluffy.

4. Whisk the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until thoroughly combined, then stir in the flour and salt with a spoon.

5. Pour the mixture into the tin and cook for 20-25 minutes in the middle of the oven, until the brownies are set, the centre should be slightly gooey.

6. Leave to cool for 10 mins in the tin, take it out onto a cooling rack, when cold remove the baking paper and cut the brownies.
