Chorizo and prawns
Recipe byOlive oil
100g Chorizo sliced
12 raw prawns peeled with tails intact
2 chillies finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
4 sprigs of chives
the juice of 1 lemon
Prep. Time → 20 min
Cook Time → 5 min
1. Drizzle some olive oil in a frying pan on a high heat and add the chorizo slices
2. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the fat from the chorizo become visible and changes the colour of the oil
3. Add the prawns, chillies, garlic and chives to pan and cook for another 2-3 minute to allow the prawns to easily cook (make sure to toss the prawns and chorizo every so often to allow the flavours to merge and evenly cook the prawns)
4. Add the lemon juice and turn off the heat
5. Serve immediately making sure to get some of the juices from the pan on each person’s plate/ bowl
