1 gallon crab apples
8 tsp cream of tarter
5 qts boiling water

Directions
1. Pour boiling water with cream of tartar dissolved in over the cleaned and destemed apples. Let stand 24 hours
Drain and strain
Add 1 cup sugar to 3 quarts of juice. Bring to a boil to dissolve sugar and seal
