Crab rangoons
Recipe by1/4c sour cream
(2) 8oz cream cheese, at room temperature
1c crabmeat, picked
2 green onions, sliced thin
1 clove garlic, minced
1tsp ginger, minced
2tsp soy sauce
1tsp sugar
1 package wonton wrappers
Prep. Time → 35 min
Cook Time → 20 min
1. Whip together sour cream, cream cheese, soy and sugar until smooth
2. Fold in everything else except the wrappers
3. Heat 1-1/2" of oil to med-high in a deep skillet
4. Place a small bowl of water on you work surface and lay out 6 wrappers
5. Add no more than 1/2Tbs mixture in the center of each wrapper
6. Moisten edges and bring up corners and pinch together, making sure completely sealed so the filing doesn't leak out
7. Place all 6 in the hot oil and cook until golden brown on both sides
8. Repeat process with remaining wrappers
9. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels
10. **Note: do not try to eat them for 5-8 minutes or you will burn yourself!
