Creamy chicken bow tie and vegetables
Recipe by3 cups farfalle (bow tie pasta) uncooked
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces
2 cloves garlic minced
1 lb frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, broccoli, cauliflower) thawed
3/4 cup fat free, reduced sodium chicken broth
1/2 cup (1/2 of an 8 ounce tub) Philadelphia Chive and Onion 1/3 less fat than cream cheese
1/4 cup Kraft grated Parmesan cheese
Prep. Time → 10 min
Cook Time → 15 min
1. Cook pasta as directed on package
2. While pasta cooks, heat large nonstick skillet to medium high heat
3. Add chicken and garlic and cook for 4 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink stirring occasionally
4. Stir in vegetables and cook 3 minutes or until chicken is done and vegetables are heated through, stirring occasionally
5. Add broth and reduced fat cream cheese
6. Cook 2 minutes or until cream cheese is melted and sauce is well blended
7. Drain pasta
8. Add pasta to sauce and stir to evenly coat
9. Sprinkle with Parmesan
