Creamy garlic and stilton mushrooms

2 cloves garlic
butter
1 tbsp olive oil or a few squirts of frylite olive oil
1/2 small wine glass of white or red wine
double cream (amount depends on consistency of sauce required 2tbsp to 6tbsp)
Stilton cheese to taste
Mushrooms

Prep. Time → 5 min

Cook Time → 10 min

1. Slice Mushrooms and finely chop garlic

2. Heat a knob of butter and a splash of olive oil in a frying pan

3. Add sliced mushrooms and saute until softened

4. Add garlic and continue to saute gently

5. Once garlic softened add white wine and turn up heat to reduce down

6. Once wine nearly all gone add a splash of cream and crumbled stilton to taste

7. Serve as a sauce for steak (best with red wine), a pasta sauce (white wine), or as a starter served with bruschette (also white wine)
