Delicious Quinoa Breakfast Bars of Kelsey Zahn - Recipefy

1 cup sorgham flour
1/2 cup organic quinoa flour
1/2 cup potato starch
1 cup ancient harvest quinoa flakes
1 tsp xanthan gum
3/4 tsp sea salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 2/3 cups organic light brown sugar
2/3 cup light olive oil
3 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 organic large eggs or egg replacer of your choice

Prep. Time → 20 min

Cook Time → 20-30 min

1. Preheat oven to 350

2. In a large bowl mix together sorgham, quinoa, starch, quinoa flakes, xanthan, salt, baking soda and powder, cinnamon, and brown sugar

3. Add in oil, syrup, vanilla and eggs

4. Add 2 to 4 tbsp warm water (dough should look and feel like cookie dough)

5. Add 1/2 cup dried fruit or 2/3 cup chocolate chips

6. Spread batter into 11x13 inch baking pan

7. Using wet hands smooth the surface until even

8. Bake until golden brown (20-30 minutes)

9. Insert knife into the center of the bar to make sure they are cooked all the way through

10. Cool, cut into bars, wrap in foil and freeze
