Diamond cookie pie

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or margarine softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup flour
1 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 cups walnuts
1 ready to use walnut pie crust
Directions

1. -Preheat over to 325
-In large bowl, mix butter brown sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy (use hand mixer)
-Gently blend in flour
-Stir in chocolate pieces and walnuts
-Pour mixture into pie crust
-Bake on center rack at 325 for 50-55 min or until toothpick comes out clean
-Serve with warm vanilla ice cream, if desired
