Dog Breath Biscuits of Huntley's Mom - Recipefy

1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup brown rice flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
1/4 cup fresh chopped mint
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup applesauce
2 tbsp. honey

Cook Time → 18-22 min

1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Combine all of the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well.

3. Add all of the wet ingredients and mix well until all the ingredients hold together as one. You will have a thick dough.

4. Sprinkle some whole wheat flour on a clean, dry surface and roll the dough flat about 1/4 inch thick.

5. Cut desired shapes from the dough. You can use specially designed dog bone cookie cutters or prepare small balls from the dough and flatten with a fork.

6. Place the shapes onto a non-stick baking surface or a surface that has been coated with a non-stick baking spray or parchment paper.

7. Bake for 18-22 minutes on the middle rack of the oven.

8. Turn off the oven and let the treats stay inside with the door closed for another 60 minutes. This allows them to get dry and to harden into biscuits.
