drum stick spaghetti  of Craig Engle - Recipefy

6 drum sticks
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
8 Mushrooms
1 large shallot
1 bell pepper
3 cloves of garlic
1 - 8 oz can of tomato sauce
1 cup Chicken Stock (low sodium)
1/2tsp oregano
1/2tsp basil
1/2tsp marjoram
8oz spaghetti noodles
salt
pepper

Prep. Time → 15 min

Cook Time → 60 min

1. lightly salt and pepper the drum sticks and in a large skillet ( I like cast iron) heat the olive oil until it begins to shimmer over medium heat, add drumsticks and brown all sides (approximately 5-6 min then 1/4 turn drumsticks, repeat until all the sided are brown.

2. remove the legs from the skillet and set aside ( they probably wont be fully cooked at this stage that is okay they will finish later) add the shallot, mushrooms, and the bell pepper turn the heat down to medium low and add another pinch of salt and a few grinds of black pepper. Cook stirring occasionally for about 10 min or until the shallots and mushrooms began to brown, add the garlic and stir for another 5 min or so.

3. add the chicken broth, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, marjoram to the skillet and turn up the heat to bring to a boil, stir and turn down the heat to low. Add the drumsticks cover and simmer while you boil the noodles to al dente.

4. serve the sauce and drumsticks over the pasta. with a little fresh grated parmesan cheese if you want, and insert food directly into face.
