French Toast Casserole of Amy Moore - Recipefy

One loaf (12 + slices) of bread (use a loaf with large slices; Potato bread loaf works well)
1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 stick of butter
5 eggs
1 1/4 cup milk

Prep. Time → 15 min

Cook Time → 35 min

1. Melt butter in the bottom of a large baking pan or glass dish.

2. Mix eggs and milk in a bowl.

3. Lay down 6 pieces of bread (or enough to fill the bottom of pan).

4. Mix brown sugar & cinnamon together. Sprinkle 1/2 of the brown sugar & cinnamon mixture over the bread.

5. Layer 6 more pieces of bread and pour the rest of the brown sugar & cinnamon mixture over the top layer of bread.

6. Pour the egg/milk mixture over the bread.

7. Cover with foil. Let sit overnight

8. In the morning: Take out and let sit 30 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes with foil on. Take foil off and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
