2 1/2 cups pin oats
1 tbl salt
1 lb ground chuck
1 lb ground pork
4 cups water
2 cups beef broth
1 large onion
4 bay leaves
1tsp pepper

1. in slow cooker on high heat water brothsalt and pepper for 20 minutes
add pin oats and cook for 1 1/2 hours stirring occasionally
mix well the pork ground chuck and onion with bay leaves add to oats and cook for 3 hours stirring occasionally
