Grandma's Dill Pickles of Michele Poole - Recipefy

2 quarts water
1 quart vinegar
2/3 cup course salt
1/2 tsp alum
3 or 4 thin slivers of garlic
Dill

1. Clean prepare cuc's
Clean and sterilize jars and lids
Put 3 or 4 slivers of garlic in bottoms of jar, head of dill added, fill jar with cuc's (if I use 2 quart jar, i add another head of dill)
Boil Brine and pour the boiling brine over cuc's and seal

2. Double batch does 6-7 full packed 2 quart jars
Sing batch does 6-7 1 quart jars
