Greek rice
Recipe by2 Tbsp butter
1 clove of minced garlic
2 shallots finely chopped
1 1/2 C white rice
2 C chicken broth
1/2 C water
1 large lemon
Greek seasoning
Salt & Pepper
Prep. Time → 10 min
Cook Time → 20 min
1. Heat butter over medium heat in large saucepan
Add garlic & shallots. Cook for 5 minutes or until translucent and sweet. Add pepper.
Add rice and stir until rice turns mostly translucent
Add rice mixture to the rice cooker and add chicken broth & water (rule of thumb is 1 1/4 C of liquid per Cup of rice. Liquid should cover rice & be approx. 1/2" of liquid over the rice
Once the rice has cooked in the rice cooker, add lemon juice, Greek seasoning and salt/pepper to taste.
Stir & enjoy!
