Gulab jambu
Recipe by3 cups powdered milk
1 cup flour
½ level tsp. baking powder
1 spoon fat
Whipping cream for making dough
or
2 cups milk powder
1 cup cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
4 oz. butter
elaichi and nutmeg
1 small can of evaporated milk
1. Melt the butter and mix everything and bind with evaporated milk.
2. Knead it and make it smooth and soft.
3. If evaporated milk is not enough, add fresh milk.
4. Make small Jambus and fry on slow heat. They will become very big.
5. Make syrup with 3 cups sugar and 5 cups water, little saffron (light syrup).
6. Leave them on paper to cool, then put in watery syrup.
