Homemade whole wheat pasta
Recipe by2c whole wheat flour
2 eggs
1/3tsp salt
water, as needed
Prep. Time → 10 min
Cook Time → 15 min
1. Using a mixer with a dough hook, blend flour, eggs and salt
2. Add water, one tablespoon at a time until the dough just comes together but is NOT sticky
3. Roll dough as thin as you can, forming a rectangle. If dough starts to spring back, let sit for 10 minutes and continue to roll out again
4. Roll into a jelly roll
5. Use a very sharp knife and slice the roll into small rounds
6. Unroll into long noodles and toss them with flour on a baking sheet to dry, or serve immediately
7. Fresh noodles will only take about 4 minutes to cook - they are done when they float to the top of the water
