Honey Garlic Meatballs, homemade sauce of Amanda Bennett - Recipefy

Sauce
1/2 cup honey
1/2 Can (16 oz) beef broth ( or chicken broth )
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon molasses
3 clove(s) garlic ( finely chopped )
2 tablespoons white vinegar
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 cup water ( Cold )

Meatballs
1 pound ground beef, lean meat
2 green onion ( Finely Chopped )
2 clove(s) garlic ( Finely Chopped )
1 cup bread crumbs, plain
To taste salt & pepper

Prep. Time → 15 min

Cook Time → 45 min

1. Sauce
A) Combine broth with Vinegar, honey and garlic, bring to a boil.
B) Add sugar, soy sauce, molasses and spices. Stir well and bring to a boil.
C) Mix Cornstarch with water, stir until there are no lumps.
D) Add cornstarch mix to boiling mixture in the pot. Stir well.
E) Add meat and simmer for 30-45 minutes, or use as a dipping sauce!

2. Meatballs
A) In a large mixing bowl combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onions, garlic, spices and mix well
B) Form mixture into 18-20, 1 inch balls, place evenly in a oven safe casserole dish
C) Cover meatballs completely with honey garlic sauce. Cover with tinfoil and bake at 400F for 45 minutes
