I love scones
Recipe by2 cups cake flour
4 level teaspoons baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
pinch of salt
125ml butter, softened
2 eggs, at room temperature
half cup milk
Prep. Time → 15 min
Cook Time → 12-15 min
1. Preheat oven to 190C and grease baking tray
2. Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into a bowl
3. rub butter into flour mixture.
4. in separate bowl, beat one egg with milk, add to flour mixture.
5. Mix to form a soft dough.
6. Portion the scone onto baking tray
7. Lightly beat remaining egg and brush onto scones
8. Place on tray and bake for 12-15min until lightly brown
