Indian burgers
Recipe by250g minced Beef
250g minced Lamb
Sea salt
Black pepper
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Tandoori Masala
1 tsp ground coriander
olive oil
Burger buns
Mint raita to serve
Mango chutney to serve
Prep. Time → 60 min
Cook Time → 12 min
1. Season the mince in a bowl and mould into 4 patties
2. Place the cumin, garam masala, tandoori massala, and coriander on a plate and drizzle with olive oil
3. Place the patties on the plate and coat them in the spice and oil to create a spice crust and place in a fridge to chill for at least an hour this will cause the patties to hold their shape better
4. Place a griddle pan on a medium-high heat and pre heat an oven to 100°c
5. Halve the burger buns and place in the oven to warm up and be able to take the burgers
6. Meanwhile take your patties out of the fridge and place on the griddle pan and grill for 6-7 minutes a side
7. Take the buns out of the oven and place the bottom halves on a wooden chopping board or individual plates
8. Put the burgers on top of the burger bun halves and add a good dollop of mint raita or mango chutney on top of that then place on the top halves of the bun and serve
