Irish Chili Bolognese  of Che Dean - Recipefy

1/4 lb of ground beef
1/4 lb of ground pork
1/4 lb of ground lamb
1/4 lb of ground turkey
1 large yellow onion
1/2 lb of large white button mushrooms
1 red bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
2 heaped tablespoons of ground garlic
1 bag of frozen or fresh vegetables
1 tablespoon of hot chili powder
1 large jar of your favorite Bolognese sauce
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 large can of diced tomatoes

Prep. Time → 20 min

Cook Time → 120 min

1. Chop the onion, mushrooms and bell peppers

2. Add the tablespoon of oil to a large saucepan and heat gently

3. Add the ground meat to the saucepan and brown gently

4. Add the garlic

5. Once the meat is browned add the onion and cook until the onion is semi soft.

6. Add the bell peppers and gently cook for 10 Mins

7. Add the mushrooms and gently cook until the mushrooms start to soften

8. Add the rest of the vegetables, stir occasionally until the vegetables start to soften

9. Add the bolognese sauce and stir everything together. leave simmer gently for 10 Mins

10. Add a tablespoon of hot chili paste or powder or desired amount depending on hotness required.

11. Add the can of diced tomatoes

12. Stir everything together and simmer for 1 hour

13. Serve with fresh bread rolls, rice, pasta or noodles
