Jalapeno poppers
Recipe by
12-15 medium Jalapenos, seeded and halved
1 8 oz block of cream cheese, softened
1 8oz pack of shredded cheese
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
1 Cup dry bread crumbs
2 quarts frying oil
Prep. Time → 20 min
Cook Time → 5-10 min
1. Prepare oil by either using a deep fryer, or a sauce pan. Pour oil in sauce pan and heat to 365 degrees.
2. In a medium bowl mix cream cheese, and shredded cheese. Spread this mixture into halved Jalapenos.
3. Put milk and flour in two separate bowls. Dip Jalapeno into milk then into the flour, place on wax paper or foil and allow drying for ten minutes
4. Next dip jalapenos into milk again and then dip them into bread crumbs allow to dry, and repeat ensuring they are heavily coated.
5. Now place the Jalapenos into frying oil and cook until golden brown, approx 5 minutes. Allow to cool and serve
