Juicy steak canapes
Recipe bymarinade
125ml olive oil
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
juice and zest of 1 lemon
2 chillies, finely chopped
handful of fresh herbs, finely chopped
few drops of Worcester sauce
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Steak
250g steak of your choice
Bread
1 small french loaf, thinly slices
50ml olive oil
100g garlic butter
Prep. Time → 20 min
Cook Time → 15 min
1. marinade:
mix ingredients together
2. Steak:
marinate steak overnight
3. cook over very high heat for 3-4min on each side and leave to rest for a few minutes
4. bread:
preheat oven to grill
5. put french bread slices on baking sheet, drizzle on olive oil and toast until golden
6. top toast with a good dollop of garlic butter and place on platter
7. slice steak and place on toast
