Lemon square cake

Cake Mix: 8oz Margarine
8oz Caster Sugar
8oz Self raising flour
4 eggs
1 tablespoon Lemon curd
Butter Cream
6oz Margarine
12oz Icing Sugar
1 tablespoon lemon curd
baking tray lined with baking paper

Prep. Time → 30 min

Cook Time → 45-60 min

1. Cake Mix: 1. Heat oven to gas mark 4 or 180 degrees

2. 2. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl or electric mixer until light and fluffy

3. 3. Put mixture into baking tray

4. 4. Bake mixture for approx. 3/4 to 1 hour or until firm to touch

5. Buttercream: 1. Mix all ingredient in a bowl or electric mixer.

6. 2. Once cake is cool, slice it in half horizontally and put 1/2 of the buttercream inside. Put the top of the cake back on top and put the other 1/2 of the buttercream on the top of the cake.
