Low fat tuna casserole
Recipe by4 cups whole wheat pasta
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cans tuna (water packed, drain well)
2 (10 oz) cans low fat cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup low fat mayo
1 cup 1% milk
1 tbsp Mrs. dash seasoning mix
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup grated low fat cheddar cheese
1. Preheat over to 350. Spray 11x7 or 13x9 pan with cooking spray. Boil pasta until al dente, drain and transfer to large bowl.
2. Add onion and tuna, toss to combine.
3. In a saucepan heat soup and milk until smooth. Stir in mayo, Mrs. Dash seasoning, garlic and pepper until combined, pour into bowl and mix with pasta and tuna. Transfer to baking dish.
4. Bake approximately 30 minutes, remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese and return to over for 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
