Malai khaja
Recipe by1 small cream
1 tin evaporated milk
1 tsp. custard powder, sugar, cardamom, nutmeg, saffron
1 cup powder milk
Puff Pastry
1. Heat the cream.
2. Add evaporated milk.
3. When it boils and becomes thick, add sugar, elachi, nugmeg, safrond and everything.
4. Add almonds and pistachios.
5. Lastly, mix custard powder in water and add to the mixture.
6. Cook everything together and remove from stove.
Roll pastry in the preferred shape.
7. Fill the mixture and turn into required shape.
8. Spread beaten egg on top and bake.
9. When ready, spread sugar syrup (chasni) on top.
10. Put almonds and pistachios on the syrup (sprinkle).
