Maple mustard chicken

1lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/3 cup spciy mustard
3 Tbsp maple syrup
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp yellow mustard
1 Tbsp cider vinegar
2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp onion powder

Prep. Time → 2 hours 15 min

Cook Time → 20 min

1. Combine all ingredients except chicken in a small bowl and whisk to combine.

2. Place chicken in a zip top bag and pour half of the mustard mixture over chicken. Reserve half of the marinade.

3. Allow chicken to marinate for at least 2 hours.

4. Cook chicken on grill (we use a gas grill) or cook on a grill pan over medium high heat, for approximately 8 minutes per side.

5. Place remaining marinade in microwave safe container and heat on full power for 30 seconds. Stir and repeat if necessary.

6. Pour remaining marinade evenly over chicken breasts and serve.

7. Note: Original recipe used 8 chicken thighs instead of breasts but we perfer breasts and they work nicely in this recipe.
