Marinara Sauce of Bobby Keillor - Recipefy

2 TBSP olive oil
1/2 small onion, finely chopped
4 cloves minced garlic
1 28oz can of crushed tomatoes
1/4 C. water
Kosher salt
Course ground black pepper
Pinch of red pepper flakes
2 TBSP freshly chopped parsley

Prep. Time → 5 min

Cook Time → 15 min

1. Heat oil in a medium pot over medium heat.
Add onion and garlic and cook until soft, approx. 4 minutes.
Add in the can of tomatoes and water, season with salt, pepper & the red pepper flakes and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat, stir in the parsley and set aside (keep lid on to keep it warm).
