Minute roast
Recipe by1 big piece of Minute roast (beef)
2 onions
2 tablespoons veg/canola oil
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon paprika
5 cloves of crushed garlic
1 tablespoon chicken consomme
Prep. Time → 15 min
Cook Time → 5-6 hrs min
1. slice both onions into rings. half of the onions lay into a foil tray and the rest set aside.
in a small bowl mix together: veg/canola oil , black pepper, salt, paprika and crushed garlic. set aside.
Take roast meat and rinse in water. Cover meat with rub mixture (with a spoon or by hand). then lay the roast on top of the onions (that you earlier placed into the foil tray). sprinkle the chicken consomme on top then cover the roast with the other half of the onions.
cover tightly with foil paper. bake at 350.
half way through cook time, uncover meat to bathe with the juices (in the tray). bake for 5-6 hrs depending on the size of the roast. keep in mind the roast will shrink a bit..... so yummy on top of white rice ;)
