Mom’s Bran Muffins of Karyn Johnson - Recipefy

4 cups buttermilk
4 cups natural bran
4 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 1/3 cup oil
4 eggs
1 1/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/3 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
4 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
1 1/3 cup raisins

1. Mix buttermilk and bran, let stand.

2. Mix flour with baking powder.

3. In a large bowl, mix oil, eggs and both sugars. Add vanilla, soda, salt and raisins.

4. Mix bran mixture with liquid mixture, then quickly mix in flour by hand.

5. Bake @ 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
