Mom's seven layer bars
Recipe by1/2 cup butter, melted
1-1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
1-1/3 cup flaked coconut
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup nuts (pecans or walnuts), chopped
Prep. Time → 15 min
Cook Time → 30 min
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line entire 13x9-inch baking dish with aluminum foil, extending foil over all four sides of dish.
2. Pour melted butter in foil lined dish. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over melted butter. Pat gently with the back of a spoon.
3. Sprinkle coconut over crust. Then pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over coconut.
4. Scatter chocolate chips and butterscotch chips over milk. Then sprinkle walnuts. Press down.
5. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until lightly browned. After bars have cooled, lift out of baking dish by edges of foil. Cut into individual bars. Store in an airtight container.
