Mum's flapjack

8 oz demerara sugar
8 oz butter
6 tablespoon golden syrup
12 oz porridge oats
4 oz desiccated coconut
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 egg, beaten

Prep. Time → 20 min

Cook Time → 25-30 min

1. 1. Pre-heat oven at 180

2. Line bottom of a tin with greasproof paper.

3, Melt sugar, butter & golden syrup in saucepan.

2. 4. Remove from heat & stir in dry ingredients and egg.

3. 5. Add mixture to lined baking tin.

4. 6. Bake 25 to 30 mins until golden and firm.

5. 7. Leave 5 mins to cool then cut into squares & leave to cool then remove from tin.

Sorry, I've updated the instructions to include the eggs. Trust me and give it a try, i think this stuff is delicious.
