Nadan muringayila curry/drumstick leaves curry
Recipe byMuringayila/Drumsticks leaves-1 cup
Small onion-3 sliced
Ginger-1/2 tspn chopped
Green chilli-2 sliced
Curry leaves -few
Tomato-1 small
Turmeric powder-1/2 tspn
Mustard seeds-1/4 tspn
Salt
Coconut Oil
To Grind
Grated Coconut-1/2 cup
Fennel seeds-1 4 tspn-1/2 tspn
Small Onion-1
Prep. Time → 10 min
Cook Time → 10 min
1. Grind together coconut,fennel seeds and small onion to a smooth paste adding little water.Keep aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.Add small onion,ginger,green chilli and curry leaves.Saute till small onion becomes light brown.Then add tomato and turmeric powder.Saute well.Add coconut paste.Mix for few seconds.Then add enough water and salt.Cover and cook for 5 mints.Serve hot with steamed rice
