Ingredients
- Fry Light
- 1 onion, sliced finely
- 50gm (1¾ oz) plain white flour (9 Syns)
- 4tbsp water
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp ground coriander
- ½ tsp chilli powder
- salt & freshly ground black pepper

1. Method
1. Preheat the oven to 220C / 425F / Gas 7.

2. Using a non-stick pan sprayed with Fry Light, fry the onion for about 8 minutes until very soft and brown.

3. Mix together the other ingredients to form a thick paste – if it is more dough-like add a little more water. Mix in the onions and stir well.

4. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and place each in a non-stick muffin tin.

5. Bake in the pre-heated oven for 20 minutes.

6. Take the bhajees out and turn upside down before returning to the oven for another 5 minutes.
7. Serve two bhajees per person with some very low fat natural yoghurt into which you have mixed a little no-added-sugar mint sauce.
