Ingredients for 6 Portions
3 Onions finely sliced
1 tbsp flour
100ml red wine
500ml stock (3 knorr beef cubes)
75g butter
2 tsp mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp sugar

Directions
1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan
2. Add the onions and fry on medium heat for 10 mins
3. Add sugar and fry covered for 20 mins on low heat
4. Add flour and stir in, heat for 1 minute
5. Add wine and stock gradually stirring all the time
6. Add mustard and Worcs Sauce
7. Simmer for 5 minutes
