Pappaya/Kappalanga/omakka Pachadi of Kitchen Snippets - Recipefy

1 Papaya/Omakka-1 medium size( chopped finely )
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt

2 To grind
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Green chilli - 3-4
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp

3 Curd/Yogurt - 1/2 cup
Crushed mustard seeds-1/2 tspn

4 For seasoning
Dried red chilli - 1-2
Shallot - 1
Curry leaves - 1 strand
Oil

1. Cook pappaya with turmeric powder ,salt and little water(about 1/4 cup ).

2. Meanwhile, grind the ingredients listed under to "to grind " to a smooth paste adding as little water as possible.

3. When pappayas are soft and well cooked, add the coconut paste to it.Cook for 1 1 mint in low flame.

4. Then remove from fire and let it cool to room temp.Add curd/yogurt and crushed mustard seeds and mix well.

5. Heat oil in a kadai and splutter mustard seeds.Add dry red chillies and curry leaves.Pour it into the pachadi and mix well.
