Pasta quiche sw

- 1pk Batchelor’s Pasta & Sauce, any flavour (see below for Syn values)
- large serving of special mixed vegetables, frozen (broccoli florets, baby carrots, sweetcorn, red pepper, peas)
- 3 eggs
- large pinch mixed herbs
- black pepper
- tomato
1. Method
1. Make the Pasta & Sauce according to the packet instructions, replacing any milk with water and omitting any butter. Allow to cool slightly.
2. While the Pasta N’ Sauce is cooking, cook the frozen mixed vegetables as per instructions. Drain & allow to cool slightly.
3. Whisk the eggs and add herbs and black pepper to taste. Stir in the Pasta & Sauce and mix well. Pour into a large flan dish.
4. Slice the tomatoes and arrange on top of the flan. Cook in the oven at 190°/375°/ gas mark 5 for about 30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
5. Delicious when chilled and cut into slices, served with a large mixed salad.
